The Hubbard House was built in 1894 by George Fowler and adopted by the Hubbards who occupied the home from the 1940’s until 2004.
Now at the “jewel” of Downtown Woodstock, tables are set once again for great food and turn of the century cocktails. Century House is a destination spot with a modern repurposed feel, while staying true to the historical roots of the beautiful property.

Chef Daniel Porubiansky came to Century House Tavern in the spring of 2013, leaving the executive chef post at what is arguably the most highly regarded restaurant group in Atlanta, but bringing with him a wealth of experience in some of the nation's greatest kitchens to Woodstock. After a career that has spanned four decades, two continents, a fistful of AAA Diamonds and nearly enough Michelin Stars to require three hands to count them, Porubiansky is bringing his cuisine home.
Stoney Morris cut his culinary teeth which serving his country in the United States Army. He furthered his training through Le Cordon Bleu which he used as a stepping stone to open his own restaurant in Marietta Square with his partner. After garnering media attention and becoming a local hot spot he sold his place to join the culinary team at Century House bringing with him his signature modern twists on traditional cuisine.
Jon Hayano runs the front of the house at Century House Tavern, setting the finishing touches with local art, craft beverages and finely tuned service. Longtime Atlanta diners and restaurant biz folks will remember him behind the bar at Harry & Sons mixing drinks and extending a warm welcome since the Virginia-Highland Asian bistro first opened 20 years ago. Jon’s influences can be seen in the local art and photography covering the walls of the restaurant and the warm, expert service of his staff.
Front of House Manager
Justin Olander is the bar manager at Century House Tavern. He has been with the team since 2016 starting out as a server/bartender. Behind the bar Justin has tried to fuse classic cocktails with new ingredients and seasonal flavors. On the side he is also the owner of The Escapery: Atlanta’s Best Real Escape Rooms.
